Teaching

Offering private and group instruction in voice and piano since 2019, Sarah has taught hundreds of students in New York City and Los Angeles.

Through gentle, clear communication, ample encouragement and unwavering curiosity, Sarah’s thoughtfully tailored lessons include piano and vocal warmups, sight reading, ear training, theory, breathing technique and performance coaching.

She currently serves as an associate specialist to Amy Chapman (MA, CCC-SLP) at Voice Lab LA and has taught at Los Angeles Music and Art School, Lyon Music, Piano Teacher Girl, The Listener School and more, and is a proud student of Amy Chapman, Jackie Presti, Adrienne Angel, Alex Nolan and Clifford Carter.

Providing boutique music business services for over a decade, Sarah is a powerful resource, dedicated partner and fierce industry advocate and teammate. From booking and advancing regional, national and international one-offs, residencies and tours, to developing artists, overseeing websites, social media and mailing lists, directing rehearsals, contracting personnel, managing schedules and calendars, coordinating release timelines, generating budgets, leading promotional campaigns and more, Sarah knows what to do, who to call and what it takes to generate real results for independent music artists, music workers and venues alike.

Sarah has served as a talent buyer at New York City’s iconic The Bitter End, the associate director of artist bookings at Odyssey Associates, a live sound engineer in New York City and Los Angeles and as an associate recording engineer to Robert L. Smith at Defy Recordings.
